Nim Busty Farmstay at Tunglabong, Kalimpong

Nim Busty Farmstay is located in Tunglabong, 10mins ride (4kms) from the nearest town Gorubathan in Kalimpong District. It is totally an off-beat destination, with beautiful landscapes and peaceful environment, one can really find calm visiting our place as its surrounded by nature and greenery.
In the farm they are basically doing a Multi-Purpose Project of Agricultural Farming and Animal Rearing. They also grow pure organic Darjeeling Tea and organic veggies and food crops in the farm area.
The farm is trying to go Zero Waste and looking forward to implement Permaculture principles in the farm.
The Farm is run by the most hospitable and sincere tribe “The Lepchas”, who are also known as the first tribe living in the areas of Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Sikkim, few parts of Nepal and Dooars region.
The nearest places from the farm are Sikkim, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Nepal, Bhutan, Siliguri.

They also keep volunteers in the farm. To qualify as a volunteer one has to stay for a minimum of 7 days and can extend to any period of time further and has to work in the farm for 5-6 hrs a day, and they need to pay for the food, i.e: Inr 600/head/night. The volunteer works includes all the works they have in the farm, like cooking, watering the flowers/veggies, working in the greenhouse taking care of the veggies, working with the animals like feeding and cleaning, making hand made Tea etc.
They have a total of three rooms, with 4 queen sized bed, and toilet and bathroom attached. They dont have hot water facilities in the bathroom but if any one demands, they can happily provide with a bucket of hot water for the guest.
They can arrange for pick and drop vehicles. And around 700 meters reaching our farm is not an mettled road so you are suggested to bring Bigger vehicles traveling to the farm and if a car cannot reach the farm we do have safe parking spaces as well.
They expect their guest to not litter around in the farm and not to leave plastic wastes while returning from the farm.
They allow smoking in the farm, and they would be happy if one smokes in the smoking area and not to throw ciggarate buds in the farm except in the ashtray and smoking is not allowed in our Earth-Home.
You are allowed for drinking in the farm but making too much of noise after 10 pm is not acceptable.
They have dogs in our farm, and they play a very vital role in the security of the farm so they may bark at the night, so if someone has problems with it, they should know it before-hand.
The farm is far from the town so while visiting the farm one should carry all the personal goodies one needs for themselves as they don’t have many shops around the farm.
Farmstay Rates:

INR 1250/head/night, including three meals.
No charges for children below 5 years.
Half charge for 6 to 10 years. Above 10 years full charge.
It excludes travel cost and extra charges for Cultural show, BBQ, Bonfire,Tongba.
Extra charges for a bucket of Hot water.
Visiting Volunteers:
